About You…the brand

Getting a tattoo is, in my humble opinion, the best and most literal way of branding yourself and in varying degrees exhibits you to those who should know or reminds those that do know. The commitment one makes when getting inked cannot be discounted. Developing your brand should be any different.

We are, each of us, a brand and while some are completely oblivious to it, there are those who are quite aware of the fact.

But anyone who already recognises themselves as a brand, probably also knows the A, B and perhaps even C of developing their respective brand.

Inevitably,  there are those who live in the “middle ground”, on the “fence” or the “grey area”. The willing but wandering/wondering souls. Those who know but can’t share. And they often have the most to contribute to culture as we accept it.

Think before you Ink…or Brand

I see three points considered when branding yourself in any sense.

  1. To announce the passion you have for your Brand *mild chuckle*
  2. To possibly showcase the direction and/or capabilities of your Brand.
  3. And to have your Brand remembered by those deemed relevant.
