So while fiddling and trying to find some very much needed inspiration on what to blog about this week,I ‘accidentally’ stumbled on thisĀ .After reading it and of cause considering the fact that I hated those field trips,I immediately thought to myself ‘Damn, now why couldn’t we have had these babies when I was in kindergarten?’ So Google has designed a pair of glasses or wearable computer that is still being tested and developed to record videos and take pictures .According to Wikipedia It’l display information in a smartphone hands-free Ā format, that can communicate with the Internet via natural language voice commands. These glasses will be officially introduced to the public and different learning institutions to enable users especially students to get an experience/knowledge through the glasses.Normally such visuals require them to actually go on field trips, and now the creation of these glasses will possibly save the schools money too.But obviously with such great developments comes negative responses as well.(click on image below to in-large)

I am anticipating the glasses will probably face a lot of these negativeĀ responses from businesses very cautious of their Ā security measures as far as sensitive information leaving their buildings is concerned.Because these devices have the ability to shoot videos and take pictures, this will be a concern for most.I suppose just like any other big brand Google is trying to cover all loopholes that might hinder the success of Ā this development. They’ve put out tips for Google glass etiquette and there’s also a list of Ā ‘DOS’ and ‘DONTS‘ to avoid some of those unpleasant moments. When you check out this LINKĀ you’l see that the glasses come in different rather stylish shades and frame that will cater for almost all users. The glasses are said to hit the shelves by the end of the year and according to WikipediaĀ Ā they are adding four prescription frame choices for about $225.00 U.S equivalent to ZAR2429.00.Frames come with 16GB (only 12GB available for use),flash memory,5 mega pixel still camera,720p video recording,WI-FI b/g,BluetoothĀ and a battery that can go up to 24 hours and a lot more features. If you are as excited as I am to try Ā these out soon as they are available in South Africa go ahead and go hereĀ  to get a feel through the glasses and also check out the commonly asked FAQs.
