eNitiate attended the RethinkLive – Africa’s Next Unicorns- Seminar in Hong Kong on the 9th February 2018. This is the forum for entrepreneurs to talk emerging trends and opportunities for investment on the African Continent.
The event was attended by entrepreneurs from Korea, Ethiopia, Nigeria, America, Hong Kong, Kenya, DRC, Japan and Zimbabwe.
The discussions focused on unpacking the opportunities for partnerships between Africa and Asia in the tech space and the need to do due diligence to understand the African markets and their nuances.
RethinkLive sessions emphasised that Africa should not be treated as one homogenous continent but rather that the differences between and within countries need to be understood to fully leverage the opportunities on the continent.
